As a mom, I know how important it is to find the right preschool for our children, where they feel safe and can fully develop. After researching and visiting many preschools and kindergartens in Bogotá, here are some options that I loved and why I would recommend them.

Platero y Yo Kindergarten
The Platero y Yo Kindergarten has three locations in San José de Bavaria, Chicó and La Pradera, in La Calera, and I love it because it connects children with nature. This kindergarten is perfect if you are looking for a country setting that encourages creativity and autonomy. I recommend it because its more than 40 years of experience speak for themselves. For more than 16 years, the Prisma Project has been implemented, encouraging an active role in the educational process. They receive children from 12 months to 5 years old.
Origami Garabatos Kindergarten
With 48 years of experience, Origami Garabatos Kindergarten is located in Chicó Navarra (Calle 101 #19A-28, Bogotá), I recommend it because here children learn through exploration and movement, which I consider essential in the early years. My nephew attends and his happiness and autonomy convince me that they are doing an excellent job. I recommend it for its flexible schedules and its focus on the comprehensive development of children, which makes it easy to adapt to different family needs. It has three types of schedules: half (8am-12pm), continuous (8am-3pm) and full (8am-5pm).

I love it because they welcome children from 3 months to 7 years old, and their safe spaces give me the confidence I seek.

With more than 35 years of experience, Kinder Hansel and Gretel is located at Calle 127B #6-47, Bogotá. I recommend it for its bilingual approach, which includes English or German from 4 months to 5 years, and because they work with small groups, which allows for more personalized attention. I like that they have a swimming pool, courts, and virtual classes, adapting to different learning styles.
Origami Antigua Kindergarten
